The video of bees trained to follow a colored dot through a maze was provided by Dr. Shaowa Zhang and Dr. Mandyam Srinivasan, Australian National University. Their work was featured on the front cover article of the February 2001 issue of Science. The videos of bees on NASA's KC135-A (Vomit Comet) were provided by Robert Madsen, Dull Knife Community College, MT. Each video shows the reactions of leaf cutter bees to changes from near zero gravity to 1.8 times gravity as the plane alternately climbs, dives, and climbs again.
