Bee Alert! Bee Cams

Our on-line beehives are fitted with cameras and flight counters and are paired with weather stations. We are working with zoological parks and natural history museums in an effort to provide a global network of hives that can be used to involve children, their parents, teachers, and beekeepers in interactive educational and hands-on research programs involving bees.

Bee Flight Data

The daily flight activity of the hives and local weather conditions are collected, archived, and posted to the web. You can see the flight profiles (bees in and bees out) throughout the day. You can also check on current weather conditions. If you wish to compare the flight data to the weather data, you can download the daily data files.
